The Living Room

The living room is a warm, safe space open to the public. There are many things available to access in the living room including: a warm space, hot drinks, books, games, relaxed environment and support staff.

The friendly staff and volunteers are on hand to provide information about local services, to signpost, and support people into existing LCT services.

The living room is open every week day between 11am and 2pm. Tuesday’s and Thursday’s are more focused days.

Tuesday’s – Wellbeing drop in.

Thursday’s – Over 60(ish)

Feedback from clients accessing 1:1 support and Groups in Supporting Spaces.

I have found these counseling sessions invaluable they(Simon) has helped me to think things through in a different way. I have re-evaluated the situations that I had previously considered hopeless and now feel loads more positive. It has been so important to be able to talk about my problems and feel listened to.

If anyone who is struggling like I was could be helped, I think it is vital that they could access the service and feel supported when they need it most. We all have times where we struggle.

Different than any other help I have sought because I have felt the most listened to in this case and took more on board as a result of the relationship.
